Jenna Jameson was born on April 9, 1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her real name is Jennifer Massoli. Jenna's father was a police officer while her mother was a Vegas showgirl. Jenna's m other passed away when Jenna was only four years old and Jenna and her brother were raised by their father. Well aware of Jenna's charm and good looks at a young age, her father nicknamed her "Heartbreaker"...and that, she certainly became. Jenna excelled in high school both academically and socially. She was the perfect combo; teacher's pet and cheerleading captain. After driving all of the boys crazy, Jenna got her famous tattoo "Heart Breaker" at the age of 16. With Jenna's love for dance and the spotlight, she became and instant success in the pageant circuit.

She began stripping in local clubs at 18 where she made some contacts and started shooting nude layouts for men's magazines. Instantly recognized for her beauty and sex appeal, Jenna was encouraged to pursue a career in nude modeling. As a model, Jenna has appeared many times over in Penthouse, Hustler, Club, and every other leading men's sophisticate magazine. She has been named as Porn's #1 Girl by every adult magazine. Up to now, she has graced over 300 magazine covers and appeared in over 700 magazines. Her popularity has crossed over to numerous mainstream magazines including Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Allure, Jane and FHM, where Jenna was listed as
one of the 100 Most Beautiful Girls in the World for the year 2000.

At the age of 20, Jenna started looking at the adult industry as her future. Jenna appeared in her very first adult scene, for Andrew Blake's "Fantasy Woman". Shortly thereafter, Jenna signed a five-film contract with Vivid Video. Realizing that Jenna was the hottest talent in the industry, Wicked Pictures signed Jenna as their top billing and only Contract girl. Since signing that exclusive contract with Wicked, there has just been no stopping the blonde
bombshell.

In one short year Jenna has made a mark on the adult industry that will not soon be forgotten. She was honored with the 1996 AVN Best New Starlet award, Best Actress and Best Couples Sex Scene, marking the first time a new starlet has won all three awards. She was also honored with the XRCO Starlet of the Year award and the FOXE Video Vixen award. Jenna is the only performer in the history of adult entertainment to win the best new starlet award from all three voting organizations.

She was honored with more awards than any other new performer in the history of the adult industry. 1997 was another award winning year for Jenna, walking away with the most prestigious awards of the year, including a landslide victory as fan favorite in a reader poll!

In February of 1997, Jenna extended her exclusive contract with Wicked Pictures for a third straight year, and also made her big screen debut in Howard Stern's "Private Parts", spawning intense media interest in the flourishing young star.

In 2004, Jameson's autobiography, How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale was released. Co-written with Neil Strauss, it was an instant best-seller.

She currently is co-owner of ClubJenna, a movie-production company (associated with Vivid), along with her husband, porn-director Jay Grdina (who performs and directs under the stage name of "Justin Sterling"). She has been running the reality tv show, Jenna's American Sex Star on PlayBoy TV, and giving an exclusive contract with ClubJenna to the winner. The couple reside in Arizona.

Inducted to the AVN Hall of Fame in 2006, she is officially and affectionately known in the industry as the 'Queen of Porn'.
